Use AI as a Tool—Not as the Final Authority

AI can help you search, summarize, translate, compare, and ask better questions. It can also misunderstand what it reads, overlook important pages, invent facts, cite weak sources, or describe a proposal as though it has already succeeded.

Use AI with healthy skepticism.

Ask it to show where every important claim came from. Open the pages and sources yourself. Compare the answer with the original material. When an answer cannot be verified, treat it as unconfirmed.

Verify Before You Trust or Share an Answer

An AI answer is a starting point for research—not proof.

Before relying on or sharing an answer:

1. Ask the AI to identify the exact 7YOC pages and outside sources it used.

2. Open those pages and sources yourself.

3. Check whether the source actually supports the claim.

4. Check the publication date and whether the information is still current.

5. Separate proven results from proposals, goals, estimates, and opinions.

6. Look for missing context or people whose interests were not considered.

7. Ask another question when the answer seems too certain, too simple, or unsupported.

8. Do not repeat a claim that you cannot verify.

Before you act on or share an AI answer, open at least one of the 7YOC pages it identifies and read the original language for yourself.

For statements about Seven Years of Change, the published website controls—not the AI summary.

For facts about outside organizations, laws, research, or results, check the original organization, government record, study, or other primary source whenever possible.
